Located in Slab Town, Mama Bird Wood Fire Grill is a purveyor of upscale American dining with global influences, from Chef Gabriel Pascuzzi.
Mama Bird opened in September of 2019, and was originally a counter service “with service” restaurant; specializing in chicken and vegetables. On Aug 3, 2023 Chef Pascuzzi relaunched as Mama Bird Wood Fire Grill; taking the original concept to a full service wood fire restaurant; offering a full menu, elevated wine list, cocktails, and a craft tap list.
Mama Bird’s interior, was designed and partially built by Gabriel & his father. It reflects the hip sensibilities of the surrounding area while also evoking a sense of comfort with modern farm house vibes. The dining room features local reclaimed: shiplap, restored farm doors, a hand hewn dairy beam, and hand built tables and bases. The wood fire grill is meant to be the center piece of the dining room with all tables able to catch a glimpse of the chefs in action.
